Player Description:
This excellent player with a British accent has stunned and inspired many Table Tennis players with his many achievements in London and his all out offensive style of play. If his accent doesn't throw you off, wait until you find him standing on the opposite side of the table holding the paddle with his left hand. His opponents believe that his forehand top spin yields the power of a shot gun. As for his backhand, he has experimented with different rubbers and has settled with short pips. During his transition, players would attempt to exploit his learning curve and hit the ball to his backhand, but now that his backhand is virtually up-to-par with his forehand, he's rock solid on both wings. Now he enjoys a full nights' sleep after consistently beating the best players in the AGTTA league and recent tournaments. Michael is a 6-time medalist in international European and World Maccabiah events. Ranked 15th in England in Men’s over 40 on November 2008 list. 2009 US Open International Veterans runner up. Coaching available; contact Michael at MichaelLevene@bellsouth.net.
